How to Delete Your GordonPro Account and Data
This page explains, in line with the GDPR, how you can permanently delete your GordonPro
account and the personal data associated with it.
Step‑by‑step deletion inside the app
- Sign in to the web app at app.gordonpro.com.
- Open the menu Settings → Privacy & Data.
- Scroll to the section “Delete Account”.
- Follow the guided flow:
- option to download your data before deleting it;
- typed confirmation by entering
DELETE_MY_ACCOUNT;
- final confirmation of the deletion request.
What is deleted
Once the procedure is confirmed:
- the following are deleted: all folders and projects, conversations, transcriptions, summaries, notes, chat sessions and other content you created in GordonPro;
- your account is deactivated and anonymised: your login credentials and direct identifiers (such as your email and authentication IDs) are removed or replaced so that the account can no longer be used to sign in;
- the following are cancelled: any active subscriptions associated with your account are set to inactive and renewal is stopped.
Data that may be retained in limited form
To comply with legal, tax and security obligations, some technical and administrative records may be
retained even after your account and content have been deleted. This may include, for example:
- billing and payment records required by tax or accounting laws;
- security and anti‑fraud logs necessary to protect the service and investigate abuse;
- aggregated or statistical information about usage that no longer relies on your personal profile or content.
Where possible, these records are stored using anonymised or pseudonymous identifiers, are kept
only for the time strictly necessary for the specific legal or security purpose, and are not used
to provide the service to you, nor for marketing or profiling.
Your GDPR rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) you have, among others, the right to:
- access your data (Art. 15);
- rectify inaccurate data (Art. 16);
- erase your data (right to be forgotten, Art. 17);
- data portability (Art. 20).
Download your data
Before requesting deletion, you can export a copy of your data from inside the app
(Settings → Privacy & Data → “Export my data”) or by following the instructions
provided in the privacy section of the product.
