The OpenAI desktop client speaks MCP. With Korely connected, ChatGPT can search your notes, read meeting transcripts, and save new facts back — all without leaving the chat window.

Setup preview

In ChatGPT desktop → Settings → MCP Servers → Add: 

Name:    Korely
Command: npx
Args:    -y @korely/mcp-server
Env:     KORELY_VAULT_ROOT=~/Korely

Approve permissions when prompted. The 7 Korely tools appear in the tool picker. Full step-by-step in the docs launch.

What ChatGPT gets

    Read your vault — search and pull any note, meeting, or task into the conversation. No more "paste the doc again".

    Write back — ChatGPT can save new notes or tasks via save_note. What you discuss becomes part of the vault.
